* About me & My Studio *
Jewelry
I create jewelry as a way to
connect with others who love
animals. Giving the gift of
expressing who you are through
the art you wear.

Fiber
I create fiber art because I love
the way it feels. It brings joy and
comfort through a combination of
texture and design.

Canvas
I paint on canvas because of its
scale. It gives me the freedom to
express ideas that I may not be
able to manipulate from
metal or fabric .
I can remember being in love with both art and animals from the time I was just a little girl. If only I could take my dogs into the art supply store with me, I'd be in heaven! It
took me a year and half into my undergraduate studies to finally figure out that I  needed to follow a path that nurtured my creativity (from nursing to art-quite a switch!).  I
went on to earn my Bachelor of Arts degree from Kent State University and  followed with my Master's degree in Art Therapy from Ursuline College a few years later. It was
in graduate school that I learned that art is both a journey and an expression of who I am. Being encouraged to explore my creativity through different art media gave me the
courage to open myself up to the idea that an artist can work in many mediums-the sky is the limit! And so, I work with metals, fibers and paint.

After graduation, we adopted our two greyhounds, Smiley and Peanut. It is their grace, beauty and gentle spirits that continually inspire me to create art that focuses on the
joy and peace animals bring into our lives.

It is my hope that my love of animals and art will connect with you and bring you as much joy to wear, to hang or to wrap up in as it does in my own life. Thanks for checking
out my site.

Sincerely,
Beth Wade
