*How do I commission a piece of art?*
If you would like to commission either a painting, a quilt or a piece of jewelry, I would be happy to work with you. Typically I'll ask for an email
and possibly a few photos in jpeg format detailing what you'd like to see in your piece and we can brainstorm to make sure we both have the
same outlook for the finished product.   I will then email you a quote which will include materials and time (shipping will be added onto the final
invoice once the piece is packaged and weighed).  If  you give me the go ahead to proceed, I will send you an invoice via Paypal for 25% of the
total commission price. This will allow me to buy any needed materials and begin the project. When I am nearing completion, I will email you a
photo of the piece for your approval. At this point, you can make minor changes, etc. Once you have approved the artwork, I will invoice you
for the balance including shipping and handling.   Once I receive payment I will package and mail the piece via USPS Priority Mail insured.
Then you will receive your new art work and be happy!  Please allow 3-4 weeks for jewelry,  8-10 weeks for paintings and 12-16 weeks for quilts.

*How do I care for my jewelry?*
If you have purchased a piece of jewelry from Beth Wade Design online or at a show, first let me thank you! It is important that you read the
following information to prolong the life of your original, handcrafted piece of jewelry. Each and every piece of jewelry purchased here is
handcrafted and unique.  Each piece of jewelry is carefully crafted to withstand normal wear and tear, but polymer and wire components are
still fragile by nature.  Pieces with silver charms,  typically earrings, are most often crafted using an eye pin loop construction for a cleaner look.
Pulling on charms constructed in this fashion will compromise the security of the charm on the wire.  If you feel you need a stronger
construction,  please just let me know and I will be happy to create your earrings using a wrap method to secure your charms.  Storing jewelry in
the box provided when not in use will help prolong the life of your earrings, bracelets, etc.

Every piece, whether crafted from fine silver, polymer, poly, or fiber,  is finished with sterling silver components. And while most pieces crafted
in fine silver are intentionally oxidized, all silver will begin to tarnish naturally over time. To help delay this process, you may keep your jewelry
in the anti-tarnish bag provided with your purchase, as well as in a box or place where it receives as little light as possible.  If your piece does
begin to tarnish, simply take a polishing cloth and wipe until the desired shine is back. You do not need to use any sort of polishing creme or
liquid, as it may affect  and dull the intentionally oxidized portions of the piece such as embedded text, etc.

If you do encounter a repair issue, please contact me and I will be happy to fix the item for you at no charge.
*Jewelry Sizing: How to measure for a bracelet*
To ensure that your new bracelet will fit properly, please take an accurate measurement, email it to me,  and I will size your bracelet as needed
prior to shipping it to you. To properly measure your wrist size for a bracelet, use a tape measure and wrap it snugly around your wrist just under
the wrist bone. Take that number and add 1" for your beaded and cuff bracelet size.  (You may also use a piece of string to measure-just lay the
length of yarn that you've wrapped around your wrist,  and then lay on a straight ruler to get the size).
 It is important to measure
accurately because there is a $7 resizing charg
e, which includes materials and UPS return delivery.
