"Watching The Fireflies Dance" is an image of one greyhound who can spend hours oustide snapping at bugs and putting her nose in the air to watch every little creature around her doing their thing. It's a nod to the simple joys in life that our dogs seem to appreciate every single day.
Created from organic cotton and eco-friendly dyes, this quilt has been created using raw-edge applique and free-motion stitching. 100% cotton thread colors have been matched to each and every single piece of fabric to create a cohesive, yet textural surface design. Irridescent angelina fibers have been applied to the surface to create the luminescent effect of fireflies in the sky. This quilt measures 31"x41" and has been finished with a traditional binding in raspberry pink (not shown in photo) and a hanging sleeve. This also comes with three handmade walnut quilt clips for easy hanging. |
